Earthhour.org Crashed by Google
Published March 29th, 2008 in Interesting SitesGoogle switch off the lights and turned their search page to black as an attempt to raise awareness towards earthhour.org and crashed the site. With that kind of web traffic driving to earth hour, you would think the administrator of earthhour.org would have gotten some warning before hand or at least prepare for the traffic spike. In the end earth hour has failed because users can’t get more information from earthhour.org

Hi…….The earth hr event was very good conducted by me and my supporters on th 29th March night. We closed almost 36 flats lights, and has made a rule that every Saturday Night lights should be off, to save our Mother Planet and Fight against Global Warming. Thank you.
