Hillary 2008
Published January 21st, 2007 in Off TopicWe have come a long way as the Republican party continues to suffocate itself through its own greed. It is true that we are universally greedy by nature, but looting your own country for hundred of billions is unforgivable.
How can anyone not like Hillary who had tried to put through reforms for universal health care for all Americans? America is the only industrialized nation without universal health care, and it is a damn shame.
Hillary has my vote for 2008. It would be great if Obama works with her as VP, and take America back to the top as a great a nation with the right leaders. Hillary as president will be a great policy maker, and Obama helps her greatly at selling those ideas with a natural gift of gab.
You know the Democrats have a winner if they would only team up. America is ready to move beyond the Bush family, the number one failure according to Google search results. Google can’t be wrong with the whole world depending on their results for information. Let’s hope the sheeple have woken up and realize that God did not speak to GWB as he had lied about his divine conversations about how God told him to invade Iraq.
Update 01/26/2007: Recent news is that Democratic Party Presidential hopefuls including Obama and Edwards are also getting into the picture of universal health care as one of their main platforms. This is good news, will America be the last industrialized nation to offer affordable health care to all of its citizens when European nations, including Canada have been laughing at us as a nation at how its citizens are treated when they cannot afford the basics of treating a sick kid. Why should someone like Paris Hilton get the best treatments for STDs (as an extreme example - she may not have STDs), and those who can not afford health coverage are left to die? The world certainly may not be fair, but America has a lot to learn from industrialized nations who offer universal health care and still spend a lot less of their GDP on health care than Americans.
Politics is a game of “me too” by following the hot topics that are in the hearts of the majority, and such that making it easy to capture the votes of inattentive citizens. I think Hillary Clinton is the only one among the three who has a true universal health care plan to push through office if she is to win the Presidential election because it was her project sixteen years ago and always will be. America needs a woman president to see that universal health care is very important because being a mother who gave birth and cared for a baby Chelsea provides the necessary insight to value health over all things related to money and power. Let’s hope for the best that Hillary will leave a lasting legacy as the President who help America join the ranks of industrialized nations with universal health care.
Update 03/20/2007: Hillary is getting a lot heat and slammed by Hillary 1984 Ad. I was actually too young to remember the original ad, but it makes a lot of sense in applying it to almost every politician in the game. There are no true independents, no true individuals without powerful political machines running the show.
