Google Search Network
Published August 4th, 2007 in AdvertisersKind of shock to find delivery of my ads on empty parking pages when this Google AdWords option was checked. Basically the search network is very similar to the content network in terms of site quality - low. I turned off the search network option and the ads were no longer displayed on the suspect parking domains.
It is kind of ridiculous that Google would actually allow this to be considered part of their search network. I can understand if anything of low quality should be considered content network to avoid all confusion to save advertisers from fraudulent clicks. Back tracking through the referrer logs took me to MFA sites, so I don’t understand how this is part of the Google search network.

Interesting. But how did you track your ad back to those pages? Or did you just come across it?
It was easy. Look through my referrer logs, and went to the odd looking domain pages and found my Google ads being displayed there when the only option turned on was “search network”. When option was unchecked, it was no longer displayed on the MFA or parked domain sites.
