Google replaces Froogle with Google Product Search. Froogle was too much of a different brand, and did not really catch on after four years under the Google brand umbrella. This is indeed a good move by Google in consolidating more applications under one brand instead of spreading out too thin. An unsophisticated searcher can be easily confused by Froogle and never use it when Google inadvertently drive search traffic to it.
