GoDaddy Lost My Domain and a Customer

GoDaddy is a bunch of incompetents, who would give me a courtesy call when I renew domains to say thank you. But they would not call me when one domain had an old credit card number attached to it, and let it expire so they can make a quick buck on the flip. The irony is that GoDaddy would call you regarding something unimportant as saying thank you, but does not have common sense to realize that with over a few dozen domains and only one had an expired credit card number attached to it. (Come on, my account had auto-renewal, private registration, and domain lock on it - did I have to tattoo it on my forehead indicating that I want to hold on to the domain?)

The representative had the nerve to tell me he would try to get an appraisal of the domain, and make me pay a higher price for the domain I just lost due to their incompetence. I will bet money that the individual or company that is currently holding on to the domain is part of GoDaddy.

It got me so mad, I considered moving all my domains and business to 1and1 which is actually cheaper by 30% on domain registrations. Why am I still on GoDaddy? From this point on, I will not bring in any additional new business to GoDaddy. Thanks a lot Mr. Bob Parsons and GoDaddy for not taking care of a good customer who had a four year relationship with you.
