Global Warming is a Lie, and New Yorkers Know It
Published August 8th, 2007 in Off TopicIn less than a month, New York City faced heavy downpours that crippled the city transportation system complete. No act of terrorism can accomplish that in the short span of time without Global Warming. A tornado ripped right through Brooklyn uprooting trees, destroying cars and properties. New York is a first class city in one of the world’s powerful nations with the crappiest infrastructures that the international community can see right through.
See Mike Luckovich’s cartoon at AJC “We must attack America’s Infrastructure before it collapses…” rings so true. Editorial cartoon at AJC.
Going back to Global Warming, as a New Yorker we are pretty tough and seen it all. But seeing the transportation system crippled by rain is something new. Maybe New York will be under water sooner than anyone can expect going at this rate. We are no longer worried about major floods, but every day rain. I mean regular summer showers that turn into downpours heavier than usual due to global warming. And yet we continue to abuse the earth to no end, payback by mother nature is going to be a b*tch.

Today is the aftermath of the rain, earlier reports indicate some trains are still not running. It is a shame.
I have to agree. I lived in New York for the better part of my like before moving to LA. It sounds like New York is turning into Seattle. Well let’s prey for a sunny sky.
