Seeing is Believing
Published October 4th, 2006 in Interesting SitesA friend had emailed this website to me on the smallest miniature art and I thought it was pretty amazing at what the artist was able to accomplish. Basically Willard Wigan produces works or miniature art from specs of dust and fit it all into a needle pin head. Each piece of art takes up to three months to create and barely visible to the human eye. However, the details of the art are stunningly defined under higher levels of magnification.
His microscopic art creations continue to baffle the scientific community at how it is humanly possible to create the small art. The attention to detail reminds me of a painter by the name of Jan van Eyck in Art History, who created paintings with excruiating fine details.
