Remove WordPress NoFollow
Published December 15th, 2006 in WordPressPlease do this for the benefit of your blog readers and commenters. It is a good way of saying thanks by giving them a crawlable link when they leave a comment on what the post is in regards.
The original intent of the nofollow tag was for Google to fight comment spam, but with the advent of Akismet and other Captcha plugins - the nofollow tag is obsolete. You can download the remove-nofollow plugin at SEOPEDIA.
Another important point to note is that spammers never cared about PR, thus the nofollow tags served no purpose and never will serve any purpose.
